Marché de Noël et des Confluences

As my journey in Lyon comes to an end, my friends and I continue to go on adventures and discover parts of the city we have never seen. Some last minute stops with some great company were the Marché de Noël de Lyon and the Musée des Confluences.

Despite the dreary mist and gloomy clouds, we got into the festive spirit at the small Christmas market in Lyon. There was a Christmas tree farm and an adorable tree covered in funky decorations. Each vendor’s hut was decorated with lights and tinsel and they sold everything from food to maple syrup to whiskey to little trinkets and gifts.

I wore my Zara trousers and an H&M sweater from a few seasons ago and my trusty black chunky-heeled boots. I am also wearing my Zara suede jacket.

Afterwards, my friend, Faith and I went to the Musée des Confluences, the science-y museum in Lyon. It’s also the place where the #onlylyon sign is and who can leave Lyon without a photo by the sign?

I may have one more post on Lyon 😦 but I leave for Paris tomorrow so expect plenty of Parisian fashion and sights 😉

I love Lyon and it has a very special place in my heart, as do the amazing friends I have met here. I know I’ll be back, but goodbye for now ❤
